Centum CEO clarifies misleading article in the last Saturday Daily Nation
Nairobi, Friday, September 29, 2011...In a letter dated 26 September 2011 to the Nairobi Stock Exchange and Uganda Securities Exchange, the Chief Executive Officer of Centum Investment Company Limited clarified that the Company was not raising equity capital contrary to a report in the Daily Nation of Saturday,
September 24th 2011 that the Company had made a decision to raise Ksh. 9 Billion through a rights issue.
Mr. Mworia stated that in the event that any decision is made to that effect, the Company shall communicate to its shareholders, the regulatory authority and the general public in the manner prescribed by law.
